Powering the Future of Clinical Research

SCOPE Europe 2025 brought together more than 750 participants from across the global clinical research community for two days of forward-thinking discussion, innovation, and collaboration in Barcelona, Spain (15–16 October 2025). With 53% executive-level attendees from over 400 different organizations, the Summit once again proved to be the premier meeting place for leaders shaping the next generation of clinical operations and research.

This year’s theme, “Powering the Future of Clinical Research,” highlighted the technologies, strategies, and partnerships driving innovation in our field. The comprehensive program featured six focused tracks covering every facet of trial operations — including Trial Design and Protocol Development, Feasibility and Study Start-Up, Patient Engagement and Recruitment, Clinical Data Strategy and AI Innovation, Small Biopharma Strategies, and Risk-Based Quality Management.

Attendees engaged in three Plenary Keynote Sessions, over 130 presentations, and three interactive Monday workshops exploring AI Implementation, Informed Consent, and Sustainable Trials. The dynamic exhibit hall showcased 50+ leading suppliers and partners, complemented by valuable networking opportunities during receptions, coffee breaks, and luncheons. Highlights included the Best of Show Awards, celebrating excellence and innovation across the clinical research ecosystem.
